Somnole products are independently tested for safety. Our certifications mean what touches your mattress — and your skin — has been screened against international standards for textile chemistry.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100
All Somnole encasements and protectors are certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. This certification tests every component — fabric, thread, zipper, membrane — against a list of over 350 harmful substances, including azo dyes, formaldehyde, pesticides, heavy metals, and chlorinated phenols.

What it doesn't certify
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 covers chemical safety. It does not test waterproof performance or pore size — those are measured separately during product development. See individual product pages for membrane and pore-size specs.
